ALBETH:

The oldest, a Libra, born in October. The alto of the group. Accomplished in dancing, she studied two years with the San Francisco Ballet Company, and in earlier years taught both tap and ballet. She also is an artist. Her passion over animals prompted her to take a six-week course in Exotic Animal Training and she once owned an Ocelot. Albeth now restricts her pets to her current 4-legged roommates, two rescued Greyhounds (Webster and Monty), and Fanny, her sixth Standard Poodle, plus Paddy and Maxine, her cats. Laverne wandered off some years back! A tennis player for many years, Albeth still is on the courts every week, but her special joy is ballroom dancing, particularly the Latin rhythms. She has one son, Barak, and has been married to her husband, Clancy, (whom she met playing a club in Vancouver, BC), since the 1960’s.
